We rented a very small, two bedroom house for eleven years while trying
to find options to buy. We had a lot of instability during that time and everything
was just getting too crowded. Our daughter Kyana had to move out during high school because
we just didn't have the room for her and her brother to live and grow comfortably.
We wanted a nice, roomy house in a decent area that we could afford, but we had credit problems
and ran into other set-backs that pushed us to rent for so long. When we rented we always felt
like we were stuck and hand-tied because we had dreams but we were unable to make them a reality.
My husband James and I bought our house from GDC and are enjoying the freedom and flexibility that
comes with finally owning our own home."
